What was added to the Diktovátko app and when, newest first. The app updates itself and shows you the changes before it does.

Version 0.20.0 latest
- The indicator has a six-dot handle on the left to grab and drag it when it's in the way.
- The spot you drag it to is remembered for each screen separately. Double-click puts it back at the bottom centre of that screen.
Version 0.19.0
- Multiple screens: the recording indicator always shows on the screen with your active window, where the text will be pasted. A position you dragged it to (say, top right) is kept on every screen.
Version 0.18.0
- Dictation no longer overwrites your clipboard. After the dictated text is pasted, the original clipboard comes back in full, including formatted text, images or copied files. If you copy something new while it pastes, that stays.
Version 0.17.1
- The Diktovátko window has its own microphone icon instead of the Python one, in the title bar and on the Windows taskbar (in the Dock on Mac).
Version 0.17.0
- Diktovátko now knows exactly where you dictated on the Mac too: for browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Arc, Safari, Firefox) it saves the page address to the history, and for the Claude app the conversation name.
- The first time you dictate into a browser, your Mac asks whether Terminal may control it. Without permission only the address isn't saved, dictation keeps working.
Version 0.16.0
- When you dictate into a browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, Firefox), history also saves the page address, such as a specific Jira issue or a Slack thread on the web. Just click it in the history.
- The address and conversation name are included in CSV and Markdown exports, and search finds entries by address too.
Version 0.15.0
- For the Claude app, history now also stores the name of the conversation you dictate into (on Windows), e.g. “Claude – Campaign plan”. In Slack it is still the channel or the person in a direct message.
Version 0.14.1
- Quieter speech or a distant microphone no longer gets the recording discarded: the app compares your voice with the room noise and boosts quiet recordings before transcription.
- If a recording really is too quiet, the indicator says so instead of silently doing nothing.
Version 0.14.0
- Updating from the icon menu shows a system dialog with what's new in every skipped version and asks whether to update. It works even if the app window doesn't.
- If the new version doesn't start, Diktovátko returns to the previous version by itself. If installation fails, nothing changes.
- If the window can't connect to the app, it shows a clear message instead of empty lists.
Version 0.13.3
- Mac fix: the app window didn't load settings and nothing could be saved, not even the Groq key.
Version 0.13.0
- New licence GNU AGPL-3.0: Diktovátko stays free and open source, for companies too, but modified versions must stay open.
Version 0.12.2
- The app language (Czech, English, German) can be switched right at the bottom left of the window and applies at once. In Settings, the language option is now at the top.
- The globe next to the language switch opens the Diktovátko website, and Settings → Updates links to the full changelog.
Version 0.12.1
- The Cloud · fast / Local · slow switch is also on the left of the window, and in Settings it applies at once, no saving needed.
Version 0.12.0
- Before updating, you see what changed in every version since yours, even if you skipped a few.
- The indicator is semi-transparent and can be dragged anywhere on the screen. Double-click puts it back at the bottom centre.
Version 0.11.1
- Fix: after switching Cloud / Local while recording, the app missed the hotkey release.
- The indicator label has icons: a lightning bolt for fast, a snail for slow.
Version 0.11.0
- Switch between cloud and on-device transcription without deleting your key: click the label in the indicator, even while recording. Also in the icon menu and Settings.
Version 0.10.1
- The update check runs every 2 hours.
Version 0.10.0
- Automatic updates: Diktovátko notices a new version and updates itself with one click. Settings, key and history stay.
Version 0.9.1
- The icon menu has a Support the project item (Ko-fi).
Version 0.9.0
- Security audit: the Groq key lives in the system password store, the log contains no dictated text, text never lands in the wrong window, history can be deleted.
- More reliable hotkeys and clear error messages.
Version 0.8.0
- The app in Czech, English and German: window, icon menu, indicator and export.
Version 0.7.0
- Version number in the icon menu and the app window.
Version 0.6.0
- Default hotkey Ctrl + Win, on Mac Ctrl + ⌘.
Version 0.4.0
- Mac version.
Version 0.3.0
- One window with history, statistics and settings. Time-saved statistics.
Version 0.1.0
- First version: hold a key, speak, and the text appears at your cursor. Transcription on your computer or via Groq, local history.
